Photovoltaics on
green roofs
In collaboration with the ISC Konstanz, the HTW Berlin and funded by the BMWK’s ZIM program, we have developed a completely new type of solar system for flat roofs. The combination of photovoltaics and green roofs was a particular focus. The first pilot projects of this type were built in Q3 2023. System solution for
photovoltaic facades
SOLup provides an effective solution for integrating solar technology into both commercial and residential building facades (BAPV). Designed as a ventilated rainscreen facade (vhF), SOLup eliminates the need for costly custom designs. This system integrates seamlessly with existing façades, offering a comprehensive solution. The combination of TOPCon double-glass modules with a flexible substructure allows for a cost-effective photovoltaic facade.
SOLo
Aesthetic PV solution
for tiled roofs
After more than 20 years, we are pleased to introduce the second generation of the former SOLON SOLo system. This new iteration boasts a completely tool-free installation process. The compact dimensions of the modules enable photovoltaic systems to be installed on small or fragmanted roofs. Additionally, the module height is designed to align with the typical spacing of roof tiles, ensuring a seamless integration with the roof structure.

The SOLYCO team has been active in the field of photovoltaic modules and solar products since 1996. For more than 15 years from 1999 to 2014, we played a key role in shaping the product strategy and quality philosophy of the former German solar company SOLON. Our technology company SOLYCO Technology GmbH is a former SOLON R&D unit that our CTO took over as part of a management buyout.
