Green roofs love SOLYCO SOLon
Outshines everything

Top Innovation Award from pv magazine
"Elegant symbiosis for urban climate and climate protection. Limiting climate change with photovoltaics and improving the urban climate with green roofs: Solyco's solution combines these two important goals. The company has developed specially sized modules that are installed vertically on roofs. The system requires less ballast and leaves more surface area uncovered than conventional systems, allowing it to be installed on existing green roofs. The jury awarded it the pv magazine highlight top innovation award."

Double glass modules
Bifacial, with 160 Wp output from 42 n-type half cells results in an output per roof area of 100 W/m².
Substructure
Quick and easy installation - without penetrating the roof and with a surface load of 12-22 kg/m².
Green roof maintenance
The system enables uniform irrigation and solar power utilization – without restricting roof greening.
Tested statics
The wind impact on the system is wind tunnel tested and approved for roof pitches of up to 10°.

The solar system
for green roofs
SOLYCO SOLon green roof system
Guaranteed performance for your green roof
The SOLYCO SOLon system stands for maximum safety and proven quality. With a guaranteed initial performance of 99.0 % and a performance of 89.4 % after 30 years, the system delivers consistently stable yields. SOLon has been mechanically tested for its resistance to a pressure load of 1000 Pa – ideal for use on green flat roofs.
The system also meets the highest electrical requirements: The modules are approved for a system voltage of 1500 V and are equipped with fully encapsulated junction boxes with protection class IP68, which reliably protect against moisture and dust.
SOLon is designed for a long service life on green roofs. The double-glass module layout protects the sensitive solar cells particularly effectively – they are located in the neutral fiber of the glass composite and are not compressed or stretched under load, but merely bent. All modules are manufactured in certified, highly automated production facilities according to the highest quality standards.
