In short: How to read the SOLYCO-label

For example: R-BG 108h.5 / 500

  • R → Module type (Frame / Laminate / Commercial)

  • B → Intercellular spaces (black / transparent / white)

  • G → Back side (glass or film)

  • 108 → Number of cells

  • h / t / bc → Cell technology (HJT / TOPCon / Back-Contact)

  • .5 → Generation

  • 500 → Power in Watts Peak

Why this is important for installers

  • quick module comparison

  • Fewer questions during the purchasing process

  • Secure planning of strings and systems

  • clear distinction of technology

The nomenclature saves time in everyday use. Typical abbreviations at SOLYCO

  • BG → black / dual-glass bifacial

  • TG → transparent / dual-glass bifacial

  • WG → white (performance-optimized (C&I) / dual-glass bifacial

The SOLYCO nomenclature is deliberately compact: All important technical features are directly contained in the name.
